This hotel is clean and warm has comfortable beds and the rooms are okay, your not going to the Hilton. You have coffee and tea making facilities in room with a tv, the bed is comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces and pretty well located near to Newcastle and Gateshead. There are takeaways close by which are 5 min away in the car or easily delivered.I wouldn't walk round at night as it can be a bit rough but that's the same as anywhere.

I think some of the previous reviews are perhaps a bit harsh... I stayed here the Halloween weekend 2021, Fri-Sun and I was very happy. It was cheap, clean and warm. The area is residential with very warm people and there's great transport links to the city, plus there's tonnes of takeaways, barbers, newsagents etc so you're well catered for. The staff in particular took great care of me.... even letting me check-in 3 hours early as the knew I was exhausted. So if you want a cheap and decent place to kip while you explore a very impressive city or just a weekend of partying then I highly recommend the Grangier House Hotel.

Stayed here for a couple of months while i was sorting out alternative residence. Mubi was very accommodating during my stay here and helped me with everything I asked for. Decent takeaway nearby and a Lidl just down the road if you fancy something else. Would definitely recommend!

Good budget Hotel. Mr Fida is an excellent host. Made our trip very convenient. Very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful location. I would certainly recommend if u looking for short economical stay. Rooms are bit cold and with some smell and cold water in the toilet sink..but overall good experience within price range.

Booked 3 single rooms, rather late. Room l had was quaint, but functional, with tea making facility, (tea, milk sugar coffee sachets provided) A toilet, plus a toilet and shower room was separate, but next door. Firtunate that l always take some toilet tissues, as hardly any 1st night; none at all, the second night. Decent shower. An old building with plenty of period features. Wetherspoons is a 2 mile walk (straight and mostly flat then downhill), as is Football Stadium. Newcastle is always a great place to visit, and this place does offer better rooms than the one l had, but a decent mattress, fresh sheets, a decent duvet and a bank holiday w/e price if £50 per night, would probably see me return. Good car parking off road.

Rent for 3 weeks. Just the location is about 18 minutes from the center by bus. Superb accommodation although a bit small. And u need to inform them if u want to clean your room. If not they wont top up ur condiment. Overall excellent.

Stayed for a couple of nights and, for a budget hotel, it’s fine. Room was clean, TV worked, shower was hot, bathroom was clean. Receptionists we’re friendly, polite, and helpful. Close to the centre of Newcastle and plenty of free parking.

It is a nice establishment, it is well run by nice people. They did upgrade our room to an ensuite shower room. That was great for the a family of four, 2 adults and 2 kids. The motel can use a bit of upgrading in the reception and corridors or hallways, new carpet and maybe paint to bring the place to life. Our room was recently refurbished so it was lovely. We loved our stay and had a good night's sleep. We would go back again
